Approximately each dining room has a stereotype scene. It has the same old setup of a table, chairs, China curio and a wall décor painting. It seems that this functional room must be the most difficult room to decorate just to make it unique or exceptional. Here are some of the tips on how we begin a dining room makeover:

1. Check the ceiling. We may perhaps apply treatment in our ceiling. A treatment with the gold color can make our ceiling an elegant new look. We may also use textured wallpaper if we want an old-fashioned look and apply rustic colored paints. Having a mirror in the ceiling is also a great idea to make our dining room exceptional.

2. We may choose a different lamp for lighting. We can have the option of not choosing the usual chandelier for our dining area. We can use lanterns or candle lit fixtures above the dining table. If we’re planning to have a reconstruction for our dining room, glass tiles above the ceiling for lighting is also nice and economical.

3. We may also refurnish the chairs and cabinets in the dining room. Painting the chairs with a different shade would be a better idea if we don’t feel like purchasing a new set of dining furniture. We may replace the fabric casing of the chair cushions. We may also use a bench if we don’t want to use the old chairs.

4. We may also use the same fabric of the chair cushion casing for table cloth. Then, a table glass will add an extra nice appearance above the cloth. If we like to change the look of the dining table we can also refinish it by applying a new color. But, if we don’t like handy works purchasing an AICO dining table is a great option for tables. Sets of this furniture show off an elegant appearance.

5. Having a curtain with the same shade of table cloth is ideal. It isn’t needed that they have the same prints and fabrics. We can use tassels for the curtains to have our windows appear better than having it plain and bland.

Now for the totality of the makeover, the biggest contributor of change would be the wall colors. Choosing vibrant and rich colors are better to make the dining room much livelier. We can also make an abstract or mural art to make it more different. Dining room makeover would be extra fun with the help of our family members. Just make sure that every change is what our family favors.
